Chicken Wings in Cheese Sauce Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

CHICKEN WINGS IN CHEESE SAUCE

Ingredients

6 chicken wings, halved
1 cup grated mixed cheese
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
tsp smoked paprika powder
tsp dried mixed herbs
tbsp Dijon mustard paste
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp chopped garlic
2-3 tsps corn flour slurry
1 cup milk
Chopped chives to sprinkle

Method

1. Preheat the oven at180C.
2. Take chicken wings in a bowl. Add salt, crushed black peppercorns, smoked paprika powder, dried mixed herbs, Dijon mustard paste and mix well.
3. Arrange on a baking tray and bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.
4. For cheese sauce, heat butter in a deep nonstick pan. Add garlic and saut for 30 seconds.
5. Add mixed cheese and cook till cheese melts. Add corn flour slurry and mix well.
6. Add milk and mix well so that there are no lumps.
7. Transfer the baked chicken wings in a serving plate and drizzle the prepared sauce.
8. Sprinkle chives and serve hot.
