CHICKOO AND WALNUT KHEERIngredients 4 cups milk3 chickoos, peeled, halved and seeded¼ cup crushed California Walnuts½ cup brown rice, soaked for 2 hours⅓ cup castor sugarMethod1. Heat 3¾ cups milk in a deep non-stick pan and bring to boil. 2. Drain the rice and grind alongwith remaining milk into a smooth mixture. 3. Add ground rice mixture to boiling milk, mix and cook till the rice is ½ done, stirring occasionally. 4. Grind togetherchickoo and California Walnuts into a smooth mixture. Add it to milk mixture, mix and cook till the mixture thickens.5. Add castor sugar, mix, cover and cook on low heat till rice is fully done. Remove from heat and cool down to room temperature. Transfer in a bowl and refrigerate.6.
