This quick Chilli Chicken recipe is easy, delicious and will satisfy your restaurant cravings right at home!CHILLI CHICKENIngredients250 grams boneless chicken, cut into 1 inch cubesSalt to tasteCrushed black peppercorns to taste1½ tbsps corn flour2 tbsps refined flour1 egg 1½ tbsps sesame oil1 tbsp finely chopped garlic3-4 green chillies, slit1 medium onion, cut into 1 inch dices1 medium capsicum, cut into 1 inch dices2 tbsps red chilli sauce½ tsp soy sauce1 tbsp corn flour slurry1 tbsp sliced spring onion greens + for garnish1 tsp vinegarFried rice to serveMethod1. Take chicken in a large bowl, add salt, crushed black peppercorns, corn starch, refined flour and break in the egg and mix well.2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, drop in the chicken pieces in the hot oil and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic, green chillies and sauté till golden brown. Add onion, capsicum and sauté well.4. Add red chilli sauce, soy sauce and mix well. Add 1 cup water and stir.5. Add the fried chicken, salt, crushed black peppercorns and toss well. Add corn flour slurry and mix well. Cook till the mixture thickens.6. Add spring onion greens and toss well. Switch the heat off and add vinegar and mix well. 7. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with sliced spring onion greens and serve hot with fried rice.
