Grind together garlic cloves, split Bengal gram, jaggery, dried red chillies, tamarind pulp and 2-3 tablespoons water into smooth mixture. 2. Add coconut, salt and 3-4 tablespoons water and grind into smooth mixture. Transfer in a bowl.3. Heat oil in a tempering pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
