Coconut, cocoa powder and chocolate chips make these macaroons excitingCHOCO COCONUT MACAROONS Ingredients250 gms scraped fresh coconut2 eggsA pinch cream of tartar100 gms castor sugar1 tsp vanilla essence1 tbsp cocoa powder2 tbsps almond powder50 gms chocolate chipsMethod1. Preheat oven to 180º C.2. Break eggs, separate the yolks and whites into two separate bowls. Use the whites for this recipe. Beat the whites well with an electric beater. Add cream of tartar and continue to beat.3. Add sugar little by little and beat well.4. Add coconut and mix well. Add vanilla essence, cocoa powder and continue to mix. Add almond powder and chocolate chips and mix again lightly. 5. Place a silicon sheet on a baking tray. Place spoonsful of mixture on the sheet with enough space between each. Spread them about 3½ inch roundels. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. 7.
