Today I am sharing how to make Jammu Special Chocolate Barfi at Home. This is a quick and instant Mawa chocolate barfi which is very easy to make with simple ingredients. Once made, you just need to let it set for a few hours before cutting it into pieces. The taste and texture of this burfi is just like you get from Halwai. Watch more barfi recipes:Ingredients:Khoya/ Mawa- 250 gmsDesi Ghee/ Clarified Butter - 1 tbspMilk - 1/2 cup or 125 mlSugar - 1/2 cup or 125 gmsEdible yellow and Red food colour - a pinchChopped nuts and melon seeds for garnishingMethod:1. Melt desi ghee in a kadai or heavy bottom pan. 2. Grate or mash khoya. Add it to melted desi ghee along with milk and sugar. Mix everything well.3. Continue to cook the mixture for 5-10 min on lowest flame till it becomes little thick and starts to bind together. 4. Once the barfi material becomes little thick, remove from flame. Immediately transfer to a greased plate or tray. Spread it nicely. 5. Garnish with chopped nuts of choice. Let it set for few hours until stiff. 6.
