These chocolate chip waffles are for both!Ingredients:1½ cups (375 mL) all-purpose flour 3 Tbsp (45 mL) sugar ½ cup (125 mL) cocoa powder1 tsp (5 mL) baking powder1 tsp (5 mL) salt½ tsp (2 mL) baking soda3 eggs, beaten4 Tbsp (60 mL) unsalted butter1 tsp (5 mL) pure vanilla extract2 cups (500 mL) buttermilk¾ cup (175 mL) chocolate chips Method:Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions.In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. In another bowl beat together eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and buttermilk. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir in the chocolate chips just until combined. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.Cook according to your iron's instructions.
