Makes 1 Cake (6 wedges) Baking Temperature: 180°C (360°F). Baking Time: 30 to 35 minutes. 1½ cups plain flour (maida)¾ tsp baking powder¾ cup softened butter¼ cup brown sugar¼ cup condensed milk¾ cup milk½ cup dessicated coconut½ cup grated dark chocolate1 tsp vanilla essencePlain flour (maida) for dustingMelted butter for brushing 1. Sieve the flour with the baking powder. Keep aside.2. Cream the butter and brown sugar till light and fluffy.3. Add the condensed milk and mix well.4. Add the milk, desiccated coconut, chocolate and vanilla essence and ix well.5. Add the plain flour-baking powder mixture and fold in gently.6. Pour into a 200 mm. (8") diameter greased and dusted cake tin.7. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (360°F) for 25 to 30 minutes, until the cake is golden brown in colour or a knife inserted in the cake comes out clean.8. Cut into wedges and serve.
