This freshly baked chocolate cakes is an eye catcher due to its lovely marble effect in each slice. Do try !CHOCOLATE LEMON MARBLE CAKEIngredients2 cups refined flour (maida) + for dusting2 tablespoons cocoa powderZest of 1 Italian lemon2 eggs 100 grams butter + for greasing1¼ cups powdered sugar½ teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons baking powder1 teaspoon vanilla essence 1 cup milkMethod1. Preheat oven to 180̊ C. 2. Break eggs in a bowl and whisk using an electric beater. Add 100 grams butter and whisk till light. Add powdered sugar and whisk well.3. Sift together 2 cups flour, salt and baking powder. Add vanilla essence and milk and fold well to make a smooth batter.4. Put ¼ of the batter in another bowl. Sift cocoa powder and mix well. 5. Grate lemon zest in the plain batter and mix well. 6. Grease a baking loaf tin with some butter and dust with some flour. 7. Divide plain batter into 3 equal portions. Put one portion of plain batter and spread. Layer with half of cocoa batter, 2nd portion of plain batter, remaining cocoa batter and remaining plain batter and spread evenly. 8. Swirl the layers using a satay stick to give a marble effect and top with dark chocolate chips and tap. 9. Place the tin on a baking tray.
