Pancakes which are easy to make at home with some moong dal and chocolate powder and drizzle some chocolate ganache. CHOCOLATE MOONG DAL PANCAKESIngredients½ cup Tata Sampann Organic Moong Dal½ cup baking chocolate, cut into small cubes2-3 tbsps refined flour2 tbsps powdered sugar1½ tbsps coco powder1 egg1½ tbsps melted butter + for brushing¼ tsp green cardamom powder1½ tsps baking powder1-2 tbsps milk½ cup fresh creamSlivered almonds for garnish Method1. In a bowl, add Tata Sampann Organic Moong Dal and sufficient water and soak for 4-5 hours. Drain and blend to a smooth thick paste.2. Transfer the prepared paste in a large bowl, add refined flour, powdered sugar, coco powder and break in an egg.3. Add melted butter, green cardamom powder, baking powder and mix well.4. Add milk to adjust the consistency. Set aside to rest for 2-3 minutes.5. Heat a non-stick tawa, grease with melted butter and add a ladleful of the batter to make pancakes. Cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes, flip and cook for 4-5minutes.6. Meanwhile, for the chocolate ganache, heat fresh cream in a non-stick pan. Let it come to a gentle simmer. Take the pan off the heat.7. Take baking chocolate in a bowl and add the hot cream in it. Set aside for 1-2 minutes or till the chocolate melts. Mix well to form a smooth mixture.8. For serving, place pancakes on top of each other, drizzle the prepared ganache and garnish with slivered almonds. Serve warm.
