You must have eaten savoury risotto but this time enjoy this sweet one

CHOCOLATE RISOTTO

Ingredients

1 cup risotto rice
1½ cups chopped dark chocolate
3 tbsps butter
1 vanilla pod
2 cups milk
½ orange
4 tbsps sugar
¼ cup cream

Method

1. Heat butter in a deep non-stick pan, add risotto rice and saute for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup water and cook.
2. Slit vanilla pod, remove seeds and add to the pan. When the rice is almost done add 1 cup milk.
3. Grate the rind of orange or finely slice the orange peel.
4. Add 1 cup milk and mix. Add sugar and mix. Add dark chocolate and mix till chocolate melts. Add cream and orange rind, mix and cook for 1 minute.
5. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot garnished with orange peel strips.
