Chocolate Spread

1 cup almonds (badam)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla essence
3 tbsp oil

1. To make chocolate spread, dry roast the almond in a non-stick pan on medium flame for 4-5 minutes.
2. Remove in a plate and allow it to cool completely.
3. Once cooled, transfer into a mixer and blend until it becomes a smooth paste.
4. Add powdered sugar, coco powder, vanilla extract and oil.
5. Blend it again until it becomes smooth and thick consistency. It will take around 15 minutes.
6. Store the chocolate spread in an air tight container in refrigerator and use as required up to 1 month.

Tips to make chocolate spread
1. Instead of almond you can use cashew nuts to make the chocolate spread.
2. Instead of oil you can use melted butter.
3. Store in an air tight container upto 1 month in refrigerator.
