Chutney Dosa | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

The delicious combination of gunpowder and ghee in this dosa will keep you going back for more.

CHUTNEY DOSA

Ingredients

2 cups dosa batter
½ cup green coconut chutney
Salt to taste
Oil as required
3 tablespoons melted ghee + for drizzling
1 tablespoon gun powder + for sprinkling
Chopped fresh coriander leaves as required

Method

1. Take dosa in a bowl. Add salt and mix well.
2. Heat a non-stick tawa.
3. To prepare one dosa, dip onion in some oil and rub on hot tawa. Pour a ladleful of batter, spread to make thin disc and cook till half done from downside. Drizzle some ghee and sprinkle some gun powder.
4. Spread some chutney, sprinkle some coriander leaves, cook till golden brown from downside and fold.
5. Mix together 3 tablespoons ghee and 1 tablespoon gun powder in a bowl.
6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with some gun powder-ghee mixture.
