Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.2. Add the cardamom, cloves and cinnamon, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.3. Add the coconut milk, green chilli and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.4. Add the cornflour-water mixture and mixed vegetables, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.5. Serve hot with appam.
