Aloo Matar Pulao

Ingredients:
Oil 1/4 cup
Onion (sliced) 1 cup
Black pepper whole 1 tbsp
Green cardamom 4-5
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Black cardamom 2-3
Cloves 7-8
Cinnamon sticks 2-3
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Potato cubes 1 cup
Peas 1 cup
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tbsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Chicken stock/Water 5 cups
Soaked rice 3 cups

Directions:
1. In a pot heat oil and add onion. Cook until it starts to turn brown.
2. Now add black pepper, green cardamom, cumin seeds, black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon sticks and cook for a minute.
3. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute. Cook for 1-2 mins.
4. Add potatoes, peas and cook for 2-3 mins over high flame. Add coriander powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, salt and cook for 4-5 mins.
5. Add yogurt and cook until potatoes and peas are fully done.
6. Add chicken stock and soaked rice. Cook until 80% water dries out.
7. Now cover and steam over low flame for 10-15 mins.
8. Your Aloo Matar Pulao is ready. Serve and enjoy.
