We recently traveled to Marrakech, Morocco and had the opportunity to camp out in the Sahara Desert for a couple of nights with our friends. Little did we know that we would end up having an experience of a lifetime thanks to our hosts and their hospitality at the Erg Chigaga camp. We are so grateful to Bobo, the camp director for teaching us how to make a traditional vegetable tagine in the desert. We learned quite a bit about the nomadic people, the Berbers and the Bedouin and fell in love with their culture and personalities.
