Soda Tala, San Jos Central Market (https://goo.gl/maps/w8k4P79QsErSDuW96) is without a doubt one of the citys best stalls, known for their Gallo Pinto (Rice and beans) - the national dish of Costa Rica. We also tried Marisquera Brigitte for their Cadosas (Ceviche with Picaritas chips), which is something else you dont want to miss. Finally, La Sorbetera de Lolo Mora is a perfect sweet finish to any market tour in San Jose.Super Cholo Gigante at Super Cholo Gigante, San Jos Meat Market - After walking around the market, we then headed to the Meat Market and in the back theres a restaurant that specializes in bocas, or small places of food. Here you can get all the classic Costa Rican foods, authentic and cooked to perfection.Empanadas at La Empanadota - You cant come to Costa Rica without trying an empanada and everyone seems to have their favorite.
