Cranberry Cinnamon Puff Puff

PREP TIME: 60 MINUTES

COOK TIME: 10 MINUTES

SERVES: 6 - 10



INGREDIENTS

2 cups hard flour

cup sugar

2 tbsp instant yeast

1 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

150g dried cranberries

500ml vegetable oil

1 tsp salt



DIRECTION

- Pour flour into a mixing bowl, add all dry ingredients and mix with a spatula.
- Add lukewarm water and mix together with the dry ingredients.
- Cover the mixture with a cling foil and place the mixture at a warm place for the mixture to rise
- beat the mixture down gently with a spatula, add the dried cranberries and fold into the mixture.
- Pour oil into a deep pan and place on a medium high heat.
- Scoop the mixture with your hands and squeeze to get a golf ball size and drop directly into the oil.
- Fry for 10 minutes to get a golden brown crust.
- Transfer to a paper tissue lined bowl to drain the oil.
- Cranberry puff puff ready to serve.
