Deep fried penne mixed with masalas and served with deep fried pumpkin slicesCRISP PENNE AND PUMPKIN CHIPSIngredients1 cup boiled penne pasta300 gms pumpkin, peeledOil for deep-frying Salt to taste1 tsp red chilli powderBlack pepper powder to taste1 tsp cumin powder2 tsps chaat masala1 tsp sugarMethod1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.2. Thinly slice pumpkin on a slicer and dip them to a bowl of chilled water. Add salt and mix well. 3. Slide penne pasta into hot oil, one by one, and deep-fry till crisp and brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Transfer the fried penne into a bowl. 4. Drain water from the pumpkin and deep-fry in same hot oil till crisp and light brown. Drain on absorbent paper. 5. Add salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder and chaat masala to penne and mix well. Add sugar and mix well. 6. Sprinkle salt and pepper powder on pumpkin chips. 7.
