Crispy Cheese Kebab | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

These minced chicken kebabs get a cheesy surprise inside.

CRISPY CHEESE KEBAB

Ingredients

250 grams chicken mince
150 grams rice flour vermicelli
100 grams mozzarella cheese, cut into 3 inch sticks
½ tbsp chopped ginger
½ tbsp chopped garlic
1 tsp green chillies chopped
2 tsps chopped mint
1 small onion, finely chopped
½ tsp red chilli powder
1½ tsps Tata Sampann Garam Masala
Green chutney to serve
Onion rings to serve
Lemon wedges to serve

Method

1. Take chicken mince in a bowl; add ginger, garlic, green chillies, chopped mint and onion.
2. Add salt, red chilli powder, and Tata Sampann Garam Masala powder. Break in an egg in another bowl and add the yolk in the chicken mixture.
3. Mix well till all the ingredients are well combined. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
4. Crush the rice flour vermicelli on a plate.
5. Insert a skewer in the centre of each cheese stick, dip your hands in water and coat the cheese stick with a portion of the chicken mixture.
6. Roll the prepared kebab on the crushed vermicelli. Set aside.
7. Heat sufficient water in a steamer, place the prepared kebabs on it, steam for 5-10 minutes. Take it off the heat and place them on a plate.
8. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep fry the kebabs till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
9. Serve hot with green chutney, onion rings and lemon wedges.
