Authentic Spring Rolls

Ingredients for Chicken Preparation:
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion (chopped) 1/4 cup
Ginger garlic pate 1 tbsp
Chicken (boneless strips) 2 cups
Vinegar 1 tsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
White pepper powder 1 tsp

Ingredients for Filling:
Oil 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Carrot (julienne) 2 cups
Cabbage (julienne) 2 cups
Oregano 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp / to taste
Prepared chicken
Green onion (sliced) as required

Ingredients for Assembling:
Bread slices as required
Roll patti as required
Flour mixture (all-purpose flour 1/2 cup + water 1 cup)
Oil for frying as required

Directions for Chicken Preparation:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add onion and cook for a min. Now add ginger garlic paste and cook for a few seconds. Then add chicken, cook for 2-3 minutes or until chicken changes color.
2. Now add soy sauce, vinegar, white pepper, black pepper and salt. Cook it for 5-6 mins for until chicken is fully done. set aside.
Directions for Filling Preparation:
3. Now in a wok heat oil and add ginger garlic paste and cook for a few seconds. Add carrot, cabbage, oregano, salt and cook for 1-2 mins.
4. Add prepared chicken and toss well over high flame for a minute. garnish with green onion. Your Filling is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Assembling:
5. Now take bread slices and cut their sides. Flatten it with a rolling pin. Add filling mixture and roll it gently. Bind it with flour mixture from all sides.
6. Shallow fry it until crispy and golden brown. Your Bread Spring Roll is ready.
7. Take a roll patti. Add filling mixture and roll it gently. Bind it with flour mixture from all sides.
8. Shallow fry it until crispy and golden brown. Your Spring Roll is ready.
Note: Can be frozen for up to 15 days
