Moong dal Sprouts Salad Recipe is very healthy weight loss recipe. Sprouts are high in protein, keep full for longer period of time and are best to consume to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This recipe is very tasty option for people of diet/ weight loss / weight management diet. Usually sprouts are boiled or steamed before making salad. We are sharing different method to prepare crunchy moong dal sprouts.

Sprouts Salad Ingredients:
Moong beans/green gram whole-1 cup
(Soaked overnight, sprouted for 3 days)
Butter - 1 tsp
Oil - 1/2 tsp
Onion(finely chopped)-1 (big)
Cranberries - 2 tsps
Cucumber(finely chopped)-1/2 cup
Tomato(finely chopped)-1(small)
Chat masala powder-1/4 tsp
Salt to taste-1/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice-1 tsp
Coriander leaves((finely chopped)-1/4 cup

Method:
1. Soak Moong dal for overnight, drain water and keep the dal for sprouting for 3 days in a muslin cloth.
2. In a pan, heat oil and butter and add chopped onions, saute for 1 min. Add turmeric powder, salt and cook for another 1 min. Add sprouted dal along with cranberries and saute for 5 min on medium flame until dal is tender but crunchy.
3. Transfer cooked sprouts in a mixing bowl.
4. Add onion, tomato, cucumber, lemon juice, chaat masala, coriander and mix it.
