DAHI WALA MUTTONIngredients1 kg mutton on bones, cut into 2 inch pieces1 cup yogurt1 tbsp garlic paste½ tsp turmeric powder2 tsps red chilli powder1 tbsp coriander powderSalt to taste4 tbsps oil6 black peppercorns2 bay leaves2 green cardamoms4 cloves2 medium onions, chopped¼ cup chopped fresh coriander1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves roasted and powderedFresh coriander sprig for garnishMethod1. Take mutton in a bowl. Add yogurt, garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix well and set aside to marinate for 1-2 hours.2. Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add black peppercorns, bay leaves, green cardamoms and cloves. Sauté till fragrant. Add onions and sauté on medium heat till it turns golden brown.3. Add mutton and mix well. Cook on medium heat till oil separates. Add coriander and dried fenugreek powder. Mix well. Add sufficient water. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes on medium heat or till the mutton get cooked, stirring occasionally.4. Transfer in a serving bowl.5.
