Daal Chawal is a popular dish that is largely eaten in Asian countries like India, Pakistan, and Nepal. It consists of lentils and rice.The lentils are cooked until mushy, typically flavored with cumin and coriander for extra flavor. Jeera Rice is an Indian style Rice dish flavored with cumin.

Ingredients :
For Yellow Dal
- 1 cup Pigeon Lentils (Washed & Soaked)
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt
- 2 Cups Water
- 3-4 Garlic Cloves (crushed)
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder

For Tadka
- Ghee
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
- 8-10 Curry Leaves
- 1 Green Chilli

For Chawal ( Jeera Rice )
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1 cup Kolam Rice (Washed & Soaked)
- 2 cups Water
- 1 tsp Salt
