Dalia recipe for weight loss, Dalia with Moong Dal, Broken Wheat with moong dal IngredientsMoong Dal (मूंग दल ) - 1/2 cup (50 gms) Wheat Porridge (दलिया ) - 1/2 cup (90 gms)Ghee (घी ) - 2 to 3 tbsp Green Coriander (हरा धनिया ) - 2 to 3 tbsp (finely chopped) Tomato (टमाटर ) - 1 (finely chopped) Asafoetida (हिंग ) - 1/2 pinch Cumin seeds (जीरा ) 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर ) - 1/4 tspGinger paste (अदरक पेस्ट ) - 1/2 tspGreen Chilies (हरी मिर्च ) - 2 (finely chopped) Red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर ) - 1/4 tsp Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर ) - 1 tsp Salt (नमक ) - Less than 1 tsp or to tasteHow to make Moong Dal Daliya : 1. Heat cooker to make Dal, add ghee, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder.2. Reduce flame to prevent from browning. Add green chillies. Slightly roast the spices. add chopped tomatoes. red chili powder.Roast the spices until, till the tomatoes are mashed.3. Once oil floats and spices are ready, add moong dal to it. Add salt.Stir and roast these for a minute. Add some water. Close the lid and cook dal until a single whistle. Turn off flame. 4. To cook daliya, heat cooker, add ghee add wheat porridge to it. Stir and roast the porridge until aromatic and changes in color. Keep flame medium. 5. Add some water to the porridge and mix it. Close the lid of the cooker. Cook daliya until a single whistle. Turn off flame. Let the excess pressure out from the cookers. 6. Dal is dense add some water and let boil, add some green coriander to it. After boil, turn off flame and serve the dal. Meanwhile porridge is cooked too. Seving: 7.Take out the porridge. Also pour some ghee over a bowl full of dal, Garnish dal with some ginger juliennes and green coriander.
