Dough
1 cup all purpose flour, (plain flour, maida)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon oil
About 1/3 cup lukewarm water
Filling
1/2 cup chana dal, available in Indian grocery stores
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon fennel seed powder, (saunf)
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder, adjust to taste
1/8 teaspoon asafetida (hing)
Also Need
1/4 cup all purpose flour, for rolling
2 tablespoons oil for cooking paratha
