First soak the both the dal for 1 to 2 hours and then boil it by adding salt, hing, turmeric powder and water mix it properly and cook till 3 whistle.2. Once dal is cooked, check it properly and mash it with a wooden stick and keep aside.3. Now in pan add ghee, hing, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, ginger, garlic and saute for a while.4. Now add green chilies and saute it again.5. Now add curry leaves and saute again.6. Now add chopped onions and saute for 2-3 mins on high flame.7. Now add chopped tomatoes and salt and saute again properly for 2-3 mins.8. Now add red chili powder, garam masala powder and saute again for 1min.9. Now add the boiled dal in it and cook it properly for 5-6 mins.10. Now add chopped coriander in it and mix again.11. Our dal is ready serve it in a bowl.12. For dal tadka, take a nonstick pan add ghee, hing, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, red chili powder, whole red dry chilies, chopped garlic and saute it properly.13. Now add the tadka on the dal.14.
