Lasagna sheets layered with spicy soya granule mixture, white sauce and grated cheese, baked till perfection.DESI BAKED PASTAIngredients6 lasagne sheets2 tablespoons oil2 green chillies, chopped1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 medium tomato, finely chopped1 cup soya granules, soaked2 tablespoons finely chopped carrots¼ teaspoon turmeric powderSalt to taste2 teaspoons cumin (jeera) powder¼ cup green peas, boiled2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves White sauce as requiredTomato sauce as required8 tablespoons grated mozzarella cheese Method1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and garlic, mix and sauté well. 2. Add onion and tomato, mix and cook till tomatoes soften. Add soya granules and mix well. 3. Add carrots and turmeric powder and mix well. Add salt and cumin powder and mix. 4. Add green peas and 1 tablespoon coriander leaves, mix and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. 5. Preheat oven to 180º C. 6. Spread a ladleful of white sauce in a glass baking dish. Top with 2 lasagne sheets, spread some more white sauce, tomato sauce and generous portion of cooked mixture. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons cheese and repeat till the cooked mixture are used up.7. Sprinkle remaining coriander leaves, put the dish in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts. 8. Serve hot.
