Prawns with a Desi twist, deep fried prawns tossed in bell peppers, celery and some spices, super delicious and super easy!DESI PRAWNS STIR FRYIngredients12-15 large prawns, shelled, deveined and washed3 tbsps corn flour2 tbsps refined flourSalt to taste2 eggs2 spring onions¼ medium yellow capsicum¼ medium red capsicum¼ medium green capsicum2 tsps finely chopped celery stalk½ tbsp finely chopped garlic½ tsp Tata Sampann Chilli Powder2 tsps red chilli sauce1 tsp dark soy sauceA pinch of sugarCrushed black peppercorns to tasteMethod1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.2. Combine together corn flour, refined flour, salt and break in the eggs and mix well.3. Drop in the prawns individually in the hot oil, deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.4. Cut spring onion bulbs diagonally and cut the spring onion greens into thick strips. 5. Cut yellow capsicum, red capsicum and green capsicum into 1 inch dices6. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick wok, add celery, garlic and sauté for 1 minute.7. Add the spring onion bulbs and cut capsicums and toss n high heat.8. Add Tata Sampann Chilli Powder and mix well. Add the fried prawns and toss well. 9. Add salt and mix well. Add red chilli sauce, dark soy sauce and toss till well combined.10. Add sugar, crushed black peppercorns and mix well. Switch the heat off.11. Add the spring onion greens and mix well.
