A popular puri recipe from Jharkhand made using kolum rice and bengal gram flour.DHUSKA POORIIngredients1 cup short grain (kolum) rice1 cup Bengal gram (chana dal)Salt to taste½ cup green peas1 inch ginger, chopped1-2 green chillies, choppedA pinch of asafoetidaOil for shallow fryingMethod1. In a bowl, add kolum rice, bengal gram, add sufficient water and soak it overnight.2. Drain, add ¼ cup water and grind it into a smooth paste.3. Transfer it into a bowl, add green peas, ginger, green chillies, asafoetida, salt and mix well.4. Heat oil for shallow frying, pour some batter to make small pancakes, cook from both side until golden brown.5.
