Who knew dosas would taste so good like this!DOSA WAFFLE SANDWICHIngredients2 cups readymade dosa batter2 tbsps oil½ tsp mustard seeds¼ tsp asafoetida (hing) 1 tsp split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal )1½ tsps split Bengal gram (chana dal)2 green chillies, finely chopped6-8 curry leaves1 large onion, sliced½ tsp turmeric powder3 medium potatoes, boiled and peeledSalt to taste3 tbsps chopped fresh coriander + for garnishMethod1. Heat oil in non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds, hing, urad dal, chana dal and sauté for 30-40 seconds.2. Add green chillies, curry leaves, onions and cook till the onions are translucent. 3. Add turmeric powder and mix well. Crush the boiled potatoes lightly and add to the pan.4. Add salt and mix well. Sprinkle little water, cover and cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes. Add 2 tbsps chopped coriander and mix well.5. Add salt, remaining chopped coriander and mix well.6. Preheat a waffle iron and spread a ladleful of batter. Close the lid and cook for 5-6 minutes. Cut the waffle into quarters.7. Arrange 2 pieces of waffles on the serving plate and top up with a generous portion of potato mixture. Cover with remaining pieces of waffle.8.
