Merry Christmas! Today we are making one of the dishes gets prepared around the first day of winter, that is, 萝卜干, dried radish. Dried radish has a tender but crunchy texture, sweet and flavorful. It can be consumed as a side dish, or as condiments in a dish. We will use 3 traditional ways, make 3 different flavors of dried radish.

圣诞快乐!今天我们来做一道一般在冬至前后开始制作的小食——萝卜干。萝卜干口感爽脆,甘香味美,可以当配菜也可以入菜当佐料,我们会用三种传统方法,做三道风味各异的萝卜干。


Ingredients:

【Five-Spice Dried Radish】
4 radishes
2 tbsp chili oil
1 garlic bulb
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp soysauce
1 tbsp 5-spice powder
1 tbsp Sichuan pepper powder
1 tsp salt

【五香萝卜干】
4个白萝卜
2勺辣油
1颗蒜
2勺糖
1勺酱油
1勺五香粉
1勺花椒粉
1茶匙盐


【Spicy Mixed Dried Radish】
2 radishes
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp Sichuan pepper powder
4 tbsp chili pepper powder
1 tbsp chili oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds

【香辣拌萝卜干】
2个白萝卜
2茶匙盐
2勺糖
2勺花椒粉
4勺辣椒粉
1勺辣椒油
1勺白芝麻


【Stir-Fry Green Soybean w/ Dried Radish】
2 Radishes
250g green soybean
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
2 chili peppers

【毛豆炒萝卜干】
2个白萝卜
250克毛豆
1勺糖
2勺酱油
1茶匙盐
2个辣椒
