This smoky fenugreek infused chicken gravy is certainly a delightful recipe!DUM METHI MURGHIngredients750 grams chicken, cut into 2 inch pieces on the bone2 tbsps ghee6-8 black peppercorns2 green cardamoms2-3 cloves1 star anise1 inch cinnamon stick1 black cardamom3-4 green chillies, slit1 large onion, chopped1 tbsp garlic paste½ tbsp ginger paste¾ cup yogurt¼ tsp turmeric powderSalt to taste2½ tbsps almond paste 2 tsps Tata Sampann Kasuri MethiMethod1. Heat ghee in a deep non-stick pan, add black peppercorns, green cardamoms, cloves, star anise, cinnamon stick, and black cardamom and sauté till fragrant.2. Add green chillies and sauté for a minute. Add onion, mix and sauté till translucent.3. Add garlic paste and ginger paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes.4. Take chicken in a bowl, add yogurt, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Transfer this into the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes on high heat. 5. Reduce the heat, add almond paste and Tata Sampann Kasuri Methi and mix well. Add ½ cup water and mix.6. Seal the rim of the pan with the dough and cover with a lid. Cook for 15-20 minutes, switch the heat off and transfer the gravy into a serving bowl.7.
