Easy Methi Paratha | Quick Evening Snack Recipe by WOW Recipes

Learn how to make this yummy quick Indian snack recipe with these simple and easy steps. Methi paratha is a Punjabi recipe popular across North India. Methi Parata is made with fresh methi leaves and chapati dough. Fenugreek leaves are very good for health and very rich in antioxidants, iron and dietary fiber.

Methi Paratha

INGREDIENTS:
1. Ghee - 2 Tsp.
2. Jeera ( Cumin Seeds) - 1 Tsp.
3. Onion - 1 Small
4. Green Chilies - 2 No.s
5. Salt to taste
6. Garlic - 1/2 Tsp.
7. Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp.
8. Dry Mango Powder (Amchur Powder) - 1/2 Tsp.
9. Pepper Powder - 1/2 Tsp.
10. Fenugreek Leaves - 1 Cup
11.Wheat Flour - 3 Cups

METHOD:
1. Add 2 Tsp. ghee to a pan. Add 1 Tsp. cumin seeds, 1 onion, 2 green chilies and salt to taste. Fry it for 1 minute. Add 1/2 Tsp. crushed garlic, 1 Tsp. coriander powder, 1/2 Tsp. dry mango powder, 1/2 Tsp. pepper powder and fry it for 1 minute.

2. Add 1 cup fenugreek leaves and 1/2 Tsp. salt. Close the lid and cook it for 2 minutes.

3. Switch off the flame and let it cool. Add the mixture to 3 cups wheat flour. Make it as a thick dough by adding needed amount of water to it.

4. Make a big lemon size balls from the dough and roll it with the dough roller as shown in the video.

5. Fry it with some ghee until both sides turned into golden brown. Methi paratha ready.
