Ingredients/ Method:

For the Dough:

2.5 cups Flour
1 Tbsp Yeast
1 cup Lukewarm Milk ( of choice)
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp Sugar
3 Tbsp Butter
1 Large Egg

For Filling
Cinnamon
Sugar
butter

For Glaze
1 cup Powdered Sugar
1 tbsp butter
Milk as required
Few drops of Vanilla Extract

Optional: Nutmeg, Walnuts, Cardamom Powder etc

Method:

1. Put yeast in a large mixing bowl. Add Milk. Mix well and let stand for at least 10 mins.
2. Add all other dough ingredients in the bowl ( Salt, Sugar, Butter, and flour). Gently Mix to form the dough.
3. Let stand for atleast 2 hour or overnight.
4. When ready to bake, roll out small portion of dough. Flatten it out with a rolling pin. Use a bit of dry flour so that nothing sticks to the surface.
5. Spread filling on to the rolled out dough- butter, sugar, cinnamon. Lift from edges to form a long log roll. Let stand for few mins. Then cut small pieces and put in the baking sheet.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 F for 35-45 mins ( depending on Oven settings..) Cook until edges turn brown, rolls puff up.
7. Prepare the glaze and add on top or sprinkle on some powdered sugar.

Enjoy with a cup of your favourite Tea or Coffee.
