A donut recipe for all the vegeterians out there!EGGLESS DONUTSIngredients1 cup + 2 tbsps refined flour + for dusting½ tbsp fresh yeast2 tbsps powdered sugar¼ cup milk2 tbsps butter½ tsp baking powderA pinch of saltMelted white chocolate as requiredMelted dark chocolate as requiredColourful sprinkles for garnishMethod1. In a bowl, add fresh yeast, ½ tbsp powdered sugar, ¼ cup warm water and mix well. Set aside to activate.2. Heat milk in a non-stick pan, remaining powdered sugar, butter and let it melt. Take it off the heat.3. In a large bowl, add refined flour, activated yeast, baking powder, salt, and milk-butter mixture, mix well and knead to soft dough.4. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside for 15-20 minutes.5. Dust a little flour on the worktop, place the dough on it and sprinkle a little flour on top and roll it into ¼ inch thickness.6. Cut out donut shapes using a donut-cutter, discard the centre, cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside for 15 minutes.7. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, drop the donuts, and deep fry till golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper. Set aside to cool.8. Dip half of the donuts into melted white chocolate and the remaining in melted dark chocolate, place them on a wire rack.9.
