EGGLESS MITHAI CAKE

Ingredients

6 mathura peda
6 badam burfi
1 tin (400 gms) sweet condensed milk
240 gms butter + to grease
320 gms refined flour (maida)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda (soda bicarbonate)
2 tsps vanilla essence
150 ml buttermilk

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180° C.
2. Break mathura peda and badam burfi and put into a bowl. Add condensed milk and mix with a hand blender.
3. Add butter and blend till well mixed.
4. Sieve refined flour with baking powder, baking soda into bowl and mix well. Add vanilla essence and buttermilk and mix well.
5. Grease a cake tin, pour the batter into it, pat on the table to level the surface.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
7. Cool slightly, cut into slices and serve.
