Ingredients for Palak Saag Paneer
Spinach - पालक - 1/2 Kg
Bathua - बथुआ - 125 gms
Fenugreek Leaves - ताजा मेथी - 125 gms
Desi Ghee - घी - 2 tbsp
Tomato - टमाटर - 2, chopped
Green Chilli - हरी मिर्च - 7, (4 chopped)
Ginger - अदरक - 1 inch baton, grated
Cumin Seeds - जीरा - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli - लाल मिर्च - 3- 4
Salt - नमक - 1 tsp
Corn Flour - मक्की का आटा - 1 tbsp
Paneer - पनीर - 200 gms
Maggi Masala Ae Magic - 1 sachet


How to prepare Palak Saag Paneer?
1. Chop spinach (Palak), Chenopodium album (Bathua), and Fenugreek leaves (methi).
2. Add chopped greens, 1 cup of water to a cooking vessel, and steam.
3. Dice 2 tomatoes, chop 4-green chilies, and grate 1-inch ginger.
4. After steaming the green for 7-8 minutes, keep aside and allow them to cool down.
5. Take a pan and heat 2 tsp of ghee in it.
6. Add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 4-red chilies, 3-whole & 4-chopped green chilies, grated ginger to the pan, and roast everything briefly.
7. Add tomatoes, 1 tsp of salt to the pan and cook till mushy.
8. After 2 minutes, mash the tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.
9. Grind the greens coarsely in the mixer.
10. Mash the tomatoes again and add the ground greens mixture to the pan.
11. Take 1 tbsp of corn flour, add some water, and prepare a lump-free mixture.
12. Mix the corn mixture in the saag and cook it for 10-12 minutes over low-medium heat.
13. Add 200 grams of cubed paneer to the saag after 10 minutes and cook the saag for another 3-4 minutes.
14. Add 1-sachet of Maggi Masala Ae Magic to the saag and cook the sabzi for 2-more minutes.
15. Transfer the sabzi to the serving bowl, add butter at the top, and Palak Saag Paneer is ready.
