Farsan Kachori | Easy To Make Tea Time Snack | Recipe by Archana in Marathi | Ruchkar Mejwani

Learn how to make crispy Farsan Kachori recipe from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. Farsan Kachori, also known as Marwari Kachori is a quick and easy Indian snack recipe enjoyed with tea!

Ingredients:

For Stuffing
50 gms Bhavnagri / Gaathi
50 gms Papadi
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 tsp Fennel Seeds
1 tsp Coriander Seeds
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Raisins
Tamarind Pulp size of a lemon
Salt
Sugar

For Covering
200 gms All Purpose Flour
3 tbsp Oil
Salt
Water
Oil for deep frying

Method:

- To make the stuffing in a mixer grinder add bhavnagri, papadi, sesame seeds, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, red chilli powder, tamarind pulp, sugar and salt. Grind everything.
- Transfer it in a bowl. Add raisins and mix well. Keep this stuffing aside.
- To make the covering in a bowl add all purpose flour, oil and salt. Mix everything.
- Add water as required and make a dough.
- Make small portions of the stuffing and keep it aside.
- Apply some oil to your hands and make little big portions of the dough.
- Stuff each covering with the stuffing and close it properly from all sides. Similarly make rest of the kachori and keep them ready.
- One by one add the kachori in hot oil and fry them on golden brown color.
- Farsan Kachori is ready to be served.
