Fish Curry Without Coconut | Pomfret Fish Curry by Archana | India Food Network

A typical fish curry is made with a lot of coconut. Archana shows you how to make fish curry without it. Its a healthier but a much more tasty version. Try it and let us know!

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp Oil
Finely Chopped Garlic
Coriander Leaves
Puree of 2 Tomatoes & 1 Onion
1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
Juice Of 1 Lime
Water
Salt
Pomfret Fish

Method:
- Take a pan, add some oil, chopped garlic and coriander leaves to it and let it cook.
- Add some tomato & onion puree to it.
- Add some red chilli powder to it.
- Soak a lemon-sized tamrind in water and add it to the mixture
- Add salt to it.
- Pour some water to the pan and let it simmer for sometime.
- Add the pieces pieces of fish to the curry and let it cook for a while.
- Serve the curry with steamed rice, roti or bread.
