A must-try recipe for all!FISH IN TURMERIC LEAVES Ingredients 4 Indian salmon fillets (rawas)16 fresh turmeric leaves¾ cup scraped coconut 1 inch ginger piece2-3 green chillies6-8 garlic cloves½ cup chopped fresh coriander leaves Salt to taste 2 tbsps lemon juiceMethod1. Dry-roast the fresh leaves from both the sides to make the leaves pliable. Cut the fish into 2 inch pieces and set aside.2. In a blender jar, add coconut, ginger, green chilli, garlic cloves, coriander leaves and add ¼ cup water and blend to a smooth and thick paste. 3. For marination, take fish in a bowl and add salt, lemon juice and prepared paste and mix well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.4. Place 2 turmeric leaves on a worktop, overlapping each other forming a cross. Place the fish in the centre and fold the sides to form a parcel. Tie with a thread to secure it.5. Heat sufficient water in a steamer, place the parcels in a steamer and steam for 10 minutes.6.
