Floating Modak in Saffron Rabri | Everest Saffron | Ganesh Chaturthi special | chefharpalsingh

Shudh ingredients se milti hai mithas shuddta ki, aise hi Shudh Everest Kesar se banye floating Modak in saffron Rabri, aur paye kripa Ganesh ji ki.


Floating Modak in Saffron Rabri

Ingredients Quantity
Ghee 1 tbsp
Assorted nuts chopped
(almonds, pistachios, cashews ) 2 Tbsp
Fresh coconut grated 1 cup
Powdered sugar 3 tbsp
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Khoya 1 cup
To make Rabri
Milk 1 Cup
Everest saffron 0.5 gms.
Powdered Sugar 1 ½ tbsp.
For Garnish
Whipping cream 1 scoop
Edible glitters
Everest saffron strands few
Pistachios chopped

Method
1. Heat ghee in a pan and add assorted nuts and sauté till nuts are slightly brown
2. Meanwhile add milk in a pan and heat to reduce.
3. Add grated coconut and sauté for 2 mins on medium flame.
4. Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and mix well .
5. Cook till the mixture dries.
6. Add khoya and mix well.
7. Remove the modak mixture in a bowl and let it cool for 20 mins.
8. Add sugar 1 ½ Tbsp , Everest saffron 0.5 gms and mix well and cook for a while.
9. Remove the Rabri in a bowl and let it cool .
10. Take the modak mixture in and stuff in a modak mould, open the mould and keep nthe modaks aside. Similarly make more modaks using the mixture.
11. In a serving plate pour in the Rabri and place the modaks on top.
12. In the center, add a scoop of whipping cream and sprinkle edible glitters.
13. Garnish the modak with saffron strands and sprinkle pistachios around the modaks.
