Foreigner takes AMAZING Filipino breakfast tour (my first JOLLIBEE breakfast!)

In this video, we explore 7 unique Filipino breakfast items in Boracay. If you love Filipino food, you have to experience these foods! Check out as we review and give our reaction to traditional breakfast foods in the Philippines!

In this video, we start by trying and reacting to the traditional breakfast street food known as taho. This is a soft tofu, combined with sago pearls, and a brown sugar syrup. This is sold by taho men who walk down the street selling the breakfast item.

We then move to the Philippines biggest fast food chain - Jollibee! This is our first time to try Jollibee breakfast, so we skipped the chikenjoy, and went for the breakfast yum burger, and cornsilog. Cornsilog combines a fried egg, garlic rice, and corned beef hash. With a cup of coffee, you have a great meal! Although this was my first time to eat at Jollibee, it won't be my last!

Next, we try a few traditional Filipino breakfast items called silog. We try tapsilog, tosilog, and dangsilog. Each of these meals cost 120 PHP at the restaurant I dined at. I think my favorite was the tosilog! It was delicious!

Finally, we head to the Sunny Side Cafe in Boracay to try a modern twist on a classic Filipino breakfast - champorado! This rice porridge cooked with rice is usually served with dried fish. However, this Boracay restaurant serves it with candied bacon, fresh mango, and caramel ice cream. This was an amazing breakfast that I hope I get the chance to try again!

If you are visiting the Philippines in 2019 or 2020 or beyond, you might be looking for travel tips and guides.
