Heat a nonstick pressure cooker. Transfer the dates, add 2 cups water and mix well. 2. Cover with the lid and cook till the pressure is released 4-5 times.3. Heat another shallow nonstick pan. Add sugar, ¼ cup water and cook till the sugar syrup reaches 1 string consistency.4. Open the lid of the pressure cooker once the pressure settles completely.5. Transfer in a blender jar and blend to fine puree.6. Add this puree to the sugar syrup and mix well. Cook for 6-8 minutes or till the mixture thickens.7. Add green cardamom powder, lemon juice and mix well. Allow to cool completely.8.
