FRIED ONIONS FOR BIRYANI

Ingredients

3 medium onions
Oil for deep-frying

Method

1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
2. Thinly slice onions and separate the layers.
3. Put sliced onions in hot oil and deep-fry till light golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and cool.
4. Store in an air-tight jar and use as required.
