Wishing them good luck for their match against Afghanistan, I've got for you the recipe for a classic British Fruit Trifle. #WorldCricEAT #ENGvsAFGFRUIT TRIFFLEIngredientsCustard3 eggs¼ cup + 2½ tbsps castor sugar2 tsps corn starch1 tbsp refined flour (maida)1 cup milk½ cup fresh cream1 vanilla podLayeringSponge cubes as requiredSugar syrup as required1 medium mango, cut into cubes + for garnishFresh blueberries as required½ cup raspberry jelly, cut into small cubesWhipped cream for toppingKiwi slices for garnishFresh cherries for garnishMethod1. Separate 2 egg yolks from egg whites in a bowl. Break the remaining egg in the same bowl. 2. Add 2 ½ tbsps castor sugar, corn starch and refined flour into the eggs. Whisk well.3. Heat milk and fresh cream and remaining sugar. Add vanilla pod and mix well. Let the mixture come to a gentle boil.4. Add ¼ cup of the hot mixture into the egg mixture and whisk well. Transfer the entire milk mixture into the egg yolks mixture, whisk well.5. Transfer the prepared mixture back into the pan and continuously whisk till the mixture thickens. Strain the mixture into a bowl and refrigerate till chilled. 6. For one portion, place a few sponge cubes at the bottom of a serving glass. Drizzle a little sugar syrup.7. Add a portion of mango, a few blueberries and pour a portion of the prepared custard in each.8. Arrange a few pieces of jelly cubes and pipe whipped cream on top. 9.
