Have a family get together or party at home, then do try this popular recipe of whole chicken marinated with indian spices. FULL TANDOORI CHICKENIngredients1 whole chicken 4 teaspoons Kashmiri red chilli powderSalt to taste2 tablespoons lemon juice1 cup hung yogurt1½ tablespoons ginger-garlic paste1 tablespoon red chilli paste1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) powder1½ teaspoons garam masala powder1½ tablespoons mustard oilButter for brushingChaat masala for sprinkling Method1. Make incisions on whole chicken and put in a bowl. Add 2 teaspoons chilli powder, salt and 1½ tablespoons lemon juice and apply well all over inside out. Set aside. 2. Mix together hung yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, chilli paste, dried fenugreek leaves powder, garam masala powder, remaining chilli powder, salt, remaining lemon juice and mustard oil in another bowl. 3. Add chicken and apply well all over inside out. Set aside to marinate for 1-2 hours. 4. Preheat oven to 200º C.5. Place the chicken on a baking tray, put tray in preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. 6. Brush some butter on chicken, sprinkle chaat masala on top and serve hot with green chutney and salad.
