These freshly baked soft buttery garlic knots will leave you asking for more.GARLIC KNOTS Ingredients1½ tablespoons chopped garlic1 teaspoon garlic powder2 cups + 2 teaspoons refined flour (maida)2 teaspoons milk powder2 teaspoons fresh yeast2 teaspoons castor sugar½ teaspoon salt2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons butter + for brushing ½ cup grated parmesan cheese1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsleyOil for greasingMilk for brushingMethod1. Mix together flour and milk powder in a large mixing bowl. Add yeast, castor sugar and some water and let the yeast activate. 2. Add salt and sufficient water and knead into a soft dough. Add 2 tablespoons butter and knead again. Set aside to prove for 30-40 minutes.3. Knock back the dough, divide into 8 equal portions and shape into balls. 4. Mix together parmesan cheese, garlic, garlic powder, parsley and 2 teaspoons butter in a bowl. 5. Roll out dough balls into medium sized thick discs, place a spoonful of cheese mixture in the centre, roll into cylinders and shape into knots. 6. Preheat oven to 180° C.7. Grease a baking tray with some oil and place the prepared garlic knots on it. Set aside to prove for 10-15 minutes.8. Brush the knots with some milk, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. 9.
