I'm very excited to be able to bring you a brand new series of recipes in the run up to Christmas. Cooking on Christmas Day can be incredibly stressful. With so many components to the big Christmas meal, it can be difficult and overwhelming to get everything done on the day.So this year it's all about a Fuss Free Christmas. I'm sharing lots of recipes which can be prepped and made ahead of time and the first is this Get Ahead Christmas Gravy. This recipe is inspired by Jamie Oliver's classic get ahead gravy but rather than using chicken wings like he does, I've used the leftover carcass of a chicken from our Sunday roast to create a delicious gravy that will keep in the freezer until Christmas Day.INGREDIENTS:Chicken Carcass & Bones2 onions, peeled and roughly chopped2 garlic cloves, peeled but left whole and crushed3 carrots, unpeeled and roughly chopped3 celery, unpeeled and roughly chopped2 sprigs rosemary2 sprigs thyme2 tbsp olive oil4 tbsp flour2 litres water150ml red wine or portSee the full recipe here: https://www.myfussyeater.com/get-ahead-christmas-gravy/#FussFreeXmas
