Goan Sausage Chilli Fry | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

GOAN SAUSAGE CHILLI FRY

Ingredients

200 grams Goan pork sausages
1 tsp oil
1 tsp butter
1 tsp finely chopped garlic
½ inch ginger, finely chopped
1 medium onion, sliced
2 fresh red chillies, cut diagonally
1 small capsicum, cut into strips
1 medium tomato, cut into strips
A pinch of sugar
Salt to taste
½ tsp vinegar
2 tbsps tomato puree
½ tsp red chilli powder
Freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Method

1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add butter and let it melt. Add garlic, ginger and sauté well.
2. Add onion, sauté till golden brown. Add red chillies, capsicum, tomato, and cook for 2-3 minutes or till the mixture is cooked completely.
3. Add sugar, salt, vinegar, tomato puree, red chilli powder, and cook for 1 minute.
4. Add sausages and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
5. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
